Abstract

Since August 2014, Japan has been experiencing local transmission of dengue. While investigations are ongoing, majority of cases have been associated with a large park in metropolitan Tokyo, with dengue virus also being detected from mosquitoes collected at that park. We report on the preliminarily findings and response activities.
